"They'll learn to use the potty when they're ready". I truly hated hearing this the several times I've attempted (and failed) with my daughter. Guess that irritating advice is actually truthful! Today, I gave it a go for what feels like the hundredth time. Put her in "big girl panties", asked her every 30 minutes to go sit on her floor potty, and she did! Then, she decided to really show off by climbing up on the toilet and going... Twice!!! We've had so many things that hindered us (brother came early...I broke my ankle... Life, in general), but we're finally making progress. She may be "late" with learning this (she'll be 3 in December), but I'm so, so proud of this accomplishment! 😊

@vvrobinson haha! That's for sure. Miss the days of breast fed baby poo. So much easier on the nose ..

Athena is still learning, she's extremely stubborn. Right now she will go in her diaper and then take it off saying caca. She will go in the potty but only to pee for now

@leenie 🤔 people just act so shocked when they find out she wasn't potty trained. I can definitely tell that learning to poop in the toilet is going to take a bit more time for her, too.

Three isn't super late. My ds was just under five when he learned. Still has poop accidents though

FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! I can't believe it My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was for a microwave she bought me and her air mattress. When she got the microwave, it was a gift. Then when my son was in the hospital from October to January out of town, I was going to get my internet service turned off until I returned home. My cousin was doing school work online, so I paid for it while I was away so she could use it. I'm trying to figure out a response to her. ?
