In laws rant!
In laws got into town Monday night to “help” with my son in my last few days.
Day #1 They came over and kept him from his nap even though I mentioned 3 times I was going to get him down at noon, they show up at 11:30. We had been at the bike park for 3 hours and he was tired & getting crabby. Then they came back for dinner and had him up 2 hrs past bed time.
Day #2 MIL came to my last Dr apt. I asked if I could just drop him at their place while I went, it’s a 30 min drive into Vail. She wanted to be there ‘Incase something went down’ What? I go into labor and she has to drive my car back to Eagle? She had a hard time with him in the waiting room for 20 min, then sat in the car while I took him to the park afterward. It was really more work having her with us.
Day #3 MIL offered to take him to story time and meet his friends at the park like we do every week! Called 20 min before hand and thinks she has altitude sickness (because she doesn’t like to drink water, but still has 4/5 beers at dinner) you need to drink water when going from 14ft to 6,500ft , we’ve lived here for 8 years! It’s not their first visit.
Cherry on top, husband just called to say they are coming over for dinner again tonight. Second time in three nights. Meaning I am cooking for 7 people, again.
🤦🏼♀️ so much for getting some extra help. Only 4 days until my due date and I am just all around uncomfortable and frustrated.
Okay . My son has been dragging his chest strap down for the last two days . Has anyone else had this issue ? He’s literally so strong . How can i stop it or fix it or something? . I literally had to pull over 3 times in a 25 min car ride to fix it
So over this feeling!
Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). On Sunday we celebrated my stepfathers birthday and due to OH working I had to do it alone which isn't the thing that bothered me. The...

Anyone ever have this??

This day will always be the best day of my life. It's the day I gave birth to the most beautiful, precious little girl the world has ever had.
Oh goodness! Stay strong mama! I know how frustrating in laws can be. Mine stopped listening to a word I’d say then made up all these fake rules that I had that made me look like a psycho.
