It shouldn't even have to be chewed on by baby. Having contact with skin is enough. When the amber is heated up by the warmth of baby, the oils in the amber will absorb into the skin.

If you're ordering from Amazon I would just check the reviews. If it has bad or no reviews, I wouldn't trust it.

@goatmomma, don’t they make ones that are suppose to help without chewing too? I’ll have to hold It in his mouth for him to be able to chew on it Bc he’s not at that level yet lol

They didn’t work for us. Then again, I’m not 100% sure if ours was authentic or fake.

The amber teething necklaces? I think they do. If you get one make sure it's real Amber though. There's a lot of fakes out there.
