To my knowledge any type of heat even hot water to defrost starts to slowly unevenly cook the meat which isn't good

Def not safe, your meat will be a breeding ground for bacteria in those temperatures. You should dethaw in cold water or refrigerator. Heat is not good for thawing meat.

Thaw frozen stuff in the fridge or even in a colander with cool water running over it . You shouldn’t thaw food on the counter or outside . Freezing food doesn’t kill bacteria and once it begins to thaw if there is bacteria on it already it will begin to multiply again .

Yup everyone here is right that shit can get u sick defrost it in ya microwave is like washing ur chixken with hott water and thats a big fat nono

The risk comes from improper cooking more than how the meat is defrosted. Heating chicken to 165 degrees or higher kills any bacteria.

Not too long defrost it for like a minute n than put it under cold water or juat leave it outside
