@redbush145 and if you do, that’s quite alright! The teachers have seen many a parent cry, but most of them just want you to make it outside of the classroom before you cry so you don’t upset your little one during the transition. You guys will be fine mama!

It’s not so bad. You just have to make sure that you find a center that you’re comfortable with and that your son is comfortable in! Ask lots of questions when you tour the facility and when you meet the teacher(s) in the classroom he will be in. Ask how they handle incidents in the classroom, ask what their lesson plans look like, what the daily schedule is, how often the teachers communicate with you about feeding and diaper changes and how they do it (verbally, an email, a sheet sent home either daily or weekly), etc! I thought I was going to fall apart the first day I dropped my daughter off at daycare and I made it out without a single tear, which was only made possible because I was so comfortable with the facility she was (and still is) in.
