Good evening ladies. I've seen quite a few posts on here before about back pain and cramps but posts tend to get buried. So I have a few questions if my own if any of you ladies have and advice.

Yesterday I woke up with what felt like menstrual cramps, my lower back on the right side, all the way down my right leg hurt, as well as some lightning crotch type feelings. Today I felt a little better but as I try to lay down for bed the pain is coming back.

I haven't had much Braxton hicks and I don't feel like there's been any contractions, but should I consider going in to be seen? Or maybe is it just a case of baby getting lower and seriously laying on nerves? TIA for any advice!

@terieg thanks for the reply! I will try to take it easy today and elevate my feet. I tried doing some light housework today and it was manageable, it's always when I take breaks that I start to notice the feeling down my leg/lower back

It sounds like Braxton Hicks. They don't always feel like contractions. Sometimes it's just back pain and the cramping feeling. The fact that they went away and didn't come back for a day is good. And yes... This happens when baby gets lower. More pressure on your lower body. Lay down with your feet elevated a lot more. Take several small breaks. But if you're if you're concerned, nothing wrong with making a phone to a nurse line!

Anyone have preterm labor? I got this unbearable pain in my back, worse that normal and I have had horrible back pain this whole pregnancy...then I started getting cramps super low in my abdomen...they felt constant but I was in so much pain they I didn't time them or anything. I was crying so bad it hurt. And I have a lot of pressure on my vagaga...does this sound like preterm labor? I'm about to call my dr
