Dilated 3cm took a little less than 3 hrs

Dialated to a 3 started pitocin. Got to a 4 and they broke.my water and gave epidural soon after and then was 4.5cm. 2 hrs later I was 10cm! Whole thing took 6 hrs.

@keeondracarroll01. Yeah they give u iv. They started me off with this pill thing and it goes under ur tounge and it dissolves and that helps open u up. And from there they kinda just ask me what i wanted between that medicine or a folly bulb . But be prepared to have alot of hands up your vagina . They put me on an all liquid diet. Which is always gross . So bring snacks . Sometimes it last longer then other just depends on ur body and baby

@keeondracarroll01 dont be.just relax once you hit a certain number of dilation it goes by fast.

Mine took almost 24 hrs and i wasnt dilated at all

I was 4-5cm dilates. Started pitocin around 7. Cuz my water broke and I wasn’t having contractions and had him by 10:55 so almost 4 hrs.

@keeondracarroll01, I had to stop eating after 9pm. Went in to L&D super early then next morning. They put in my IV and started pitocin. Gave me something to try to take the edge off and then from there it was the standard of checking progress of my cervix etc until it was time to push

@keeondracarroll01 lol, it wasn't too bad until my mom went down to the cafeteria to get herself a breakfast sandwich! I said thanks a lot for taunting me with that!

Having the IV with saline drip made me pee every 30 minutes just about, so I had to get up and walk myself and the IV stand with me, and make sure the wires didn't get twisted around it.

My dr told me I was 2cm but she's never told me how thinned out I am

@keeondracarroll01 I ate a bowl of cereal bc I knew I would only be allowed to have ice chips and clear liquids once I got in the hospital.

Only induced with #2 at 3 cm dilated. Pill was inserted around 8 am and I had her shortly after 2 pm. It went quickly after I asked the Dr. to break my water.

50% effaced, 24.5hrs and ended in an emergency c-section

Do I need to eat before I go in or what

@ambers14 ok how does the process work? She really didn't explain anything to me

First I was 1cm and lasted 12 hours and ended in csection. Second 3cm around 10 hours and had a vbac. Third 1cm and 20+ hours and ended in csection because his head was stuck. I don't have very good luck with childbirth lol

I was 2cm both times and my whole process was 6-7hrs

Induction lasted 3 hours. Wasn't dilated at all.

Well maybe it will be fast for me as well

I was 2cm induced at 1130a and my son was born at 3:42p

For me it took 8 hours I was dilated 1cm when I got induced from 6am till 2:00 I became 3cm from 2:00 till 220 I became a 10 two pushes and she was born 223@keeondracarroll01,

First I was 4cm already 5 hour labor after induction. 2nd I was 5cm and 12 hour labor.

@cburnham90 omg I hope mine is i go in Monday at 5 am I've never been induced before I'm 40+1 and at 39 weeks and 5 days I was barely 1cm she said now I'm 2or3 then she said well really just a 2

I was 3cms dialated and it lasted for 38hours... I didn't dilate at all and had to have an emergency c-section.

My inductions were super fast. I was already dilated to 4 each time though. My first son was around 6 hrs and they got faster each kid. My last son it was only 2 hours. I was also induced around 36ish wks with each one due to complications.

My first was 26 hours I was a finger tip dilated my second was 8 hours I was 2 dilated
