@nomli, oh no need to apologize, it’s my fault for reading your response the wrong way! I just am crazy paranoid about anything that goes near my son so of course I turn mama bear and freak out 😅

@k_nc, I'm sorry it came off like I was joking about it. I'm so crazy when it comes to allergies. I don't have any myself, but I know many people who do. Even when we go places I make my son's sandwiches with sunflower seed butter so as not to leave a potential peanut residue. If I'm making food for a party I'll ask about any possible allergies.

(A milk allergy group my friend is in on Facebook recently posted how some McCormick spice blends have milk as an ingredient.)

@nomli, it’s stupid expensive. Like $4 for those half gallon cartons I think is what it comes in. I’ll have to look into getting a refund

@k_nc, you should be able to return it for a refund. I'm not sure how much it costs but it's more than regular milk, right? My fiance drinks soy milk and that's always like twice the price.

@nomli, @mazzika_idfwu, I got ya. Definitely did not read it like that. Yes it’s stupid that there was milk in the facility. But still glad a saw this and am able to throw ours out.

@k_nc, I'm not saying it's unnecessary. I'm saying it's ridiculous because this shouldn't contain milk. It's a stupid recall because it should never have happened in the first place.

@mazzika_idfwu, @nomli, the fact that my heart just dropped to my stomach because this is the brand of almond milk we give my son since he has a dairy allergy so severe if he drinks it he could die, it kinda blows my mind that you would say this is an unnecessary and ridiculous recall. This could have just saved my sons life.

@oktoberwitch, awww, that probably why. A friend's daughter is the same, she is severely allergic to milk and dairy. They switch between this and coconut milk, so hopefully this week was coconut milk for her.

This is the brand of milk my son drinks because he has severe allergies, and last week/this week he’s been covered in a rash and severe diarrhea 😕

@mazzika_idfwu, haha. I keep waiting for answers!! Like, I know it can be dangerous for people with milk allergies, but this is the most ridiculous recall I've seen.
