Reprotech ? Good? Bad? For embryo long term storage ?
Anyone have good/ bad experiences with this long term storage facility for embryos? I just heard a horror story about them and something going very wrong in transport so now I’m a bit worried about sending our last embryo there . It’s currently at my clinic. I asked them to see if they could store it for me instead of reprotech but they haven’t responded yet

Sorry to hear that. My embroys were absolutely fine. The embryologist graded their defrosting 100%. Can you check into other storage options? When I spoke to Reprotech they said I could have them sent anywhere ( they are yours!) If it would give you piece of mind to have them elsewhere.

Did you have any issues with viability of the embryo after it was transferred back and forth so many times? One of my friends just went through this and when they went to defrost, none of the eggs made it ... she had eggs frozen for about 3 years , not embryos and I know embryos are more stable
My embroys spent a year there and one embryo did a couple trips back and forth to my clinic. I really liked them. The staff were always really professional and responsive. Maybe it varies by office. Mine was in Nevada. I think you can choose where they go but you might have to pay for transportation?
Seems like reprotech is the lab of choice and one my RE Recommended so I’ll stick with them .
