Short term disability in USA to extend maternity leave
What do I need to put or ask doctor to write into the STD forms so that I can get approved for it after delivery? My company offers 26 weeks at 70% pay but not sure how this works?? The paperwork says "doctor can certify a longer period under certain medical conditions " . What are those conditions??

Since my baby is so low and I’m having trouble walking and sitting down what can the doctors do?? They can feel his head already. I am not having a vaginal birth I’m having a c-section.

Unless you've had a medical complication this wouldn't apply. You would need to be out for "medical" reasons my employer sent me my forms as well but it would have to be for medical reasons your doctor would not extend your leave because you want to be home with baby.
