Do IVF pregnancies or twin pregnancies have any restrictions on air flight?
Ughhh, been avoiding it till now, but I have to fly for a business trip and I am dreading it. My last RE Recomended no flying for first trimester.... new RE won't tell me since he discharged me to OB , but haven't heard back from him.... wondering if anyone had to deal with flights and what your doctors told you guys!

I'm a singleton ivf pregnancy and have been on 2 flights at 22 and 23 weeks if that helps. I think there are only restrictions if your doctor has told you not to fly

I asked about flying as I'm going on holidays in a few weeks, I'll be 14 weeks. She had said no long haul flights and to walk around a big on the flight and wear those flight socks to prevent clots. She said I'd be fine though.

I went to Sicily for the week and it was very hot, ankles and feet were very swollen and on the flight back I thought they were going to burst - just to warn you! Other than that, all fine ?

@jcs how far along we're you during the trip??
I have 4 flights total to get to Minnesota from Florida.... no direct flights but they are not long ... I am so annoyed but I also don't want them to think I'm being lazy or can't do my job because I'm pregnant :/ I am an engineer and have a high engineering position in the company , especially for a woman ... only "girl" in a sea of men trying to steal my projects on a daily basis... it's going to be a rough next few months at work but I'll make it work ...I've been at the company since start-up days so much longer then all these new guys coming in... so I get first picks at all the good projects... but definitely have wolves coming at me all the time...I'm gonna have to be like momma bear defending myself...

I was 22 and 23 weeks so quite a bit further on than you, your body prob won't react as much as mine did if you're flying soon and mine was also down to the heat after a week in boiling hot heat, not used to it living in the uk!! I'm sure you'll be able to manage all you need to do for quite some time yet. I had a bump from really early on and have looked bigger than my weeks from about 10 weeks also which hasn't helped my body either x

Girl I'm in FL too! I'll go up North for you ? It's too dang hot lol! I can't promise you'd still have your job if I attempted your work, though ?
