How many ultrasounds have you all had before giving birth..?!

I had roughly 20... I was high risk so i was in all the time strapped to monitors and ultrasounds like once a week for the second half of my pregnancy! Since it was my first I’m going to expect my next baby to be seen just as much lol not that I hope to be high risk again but it was nice seeing my son every week for a while before he was born :) I would get to watch him with hiccups and such inside me :)

I had one every checkup from 5wks up to currently at 34 weeks and will keep getting one until baby is born ..

I guess it depends on insurance doctor and your pregnancy..

I had 13 with my daughter because the placenta slowly stopped working and so far 12 with this one because of many complications from the beginning

Every appt, I have a bag full of ultrasounds but I'm also high risk. I think most standard have 2-3, maybe 4 towards the end.

4 with my midwife and 2 elective ones. 5 weeks dating, 12 weeks, 19 weeks anatomy, 36 weeks checking on her size because I measured small. I also did an elective one at 15 weeks to find out gender early, and a 3D one at 34 weeks.

5! 7 weeks, 13 weeks, 16 weeks when I was in the hospital with abdominal pain, 19 week anatomy scan, 32 weeks, and 35 weeks 😊

About 3-4 is standard

First confirmation of pregnancy and taking measurements to confirm due date(transvaginal)

Second 20wk anatomy scan

Third late in the 3rd tri to see how big baby is and check fluid etc

My first 2 kids I had 3 the whole pregnancy and with my last 2 they were at risk so I had several throughout

I had 4 total. Dating 6w, 12w, gender 20w and growth measure 34w(?)

So far I’ve had either 4-5. But 1 of them was bc I was having serious cramps which turned out to be mild contractions

I have had 7 and get 1 more in 2 weeks

If I remember right I had 10.

I’m going to guess around 15 but I’m having twins.

2 with my oldest. About 25-30 with my youngest.

By the time I was 24 weeks I had already had like 8 ultrasound because I was high risk...

I done had 13 so far

I had several because my LO was classified as IUGR (intrauterine growth restricted), I also paid out of pocket for the 3D/4D Ultrasound.

A bunch because I was carrying twins

3 with my boys. Dating, gender and 1 more at 30 something weeks. I had like 7 with my middle but I was also seeing MFM

I had 4 with my 1st and 4 with my 2nd. Only because my ob does and ultrasound at the first 2 appts then the 20 week. With my 2nd I needed another one at 32 weeks because of placenta previa. But it had resolved on its own. And with my first we went and got a 3/4d ultrasound done out of pocket cost. But In a routine pregnancy they usually only do 2-3 ultrasounds. High risk is different

I had 3. And the dr did a quick handheld one when I went in to give birth just to make sure baby was head down

Most receive 2 or 3 based off their doctors desire and insurance coverage unless you are high risk, seeing a specialist, choose to pay for additional, etc.

The 1st is when you first visit your doctor saying you are pregnant. For me that was 8 weeks but some it's closer to 15.

Next is the one we all wait for where we find out the sex of the baby and they check to make sure there aren't any abnormalities with baby or surrounding area. This is usually at 20 weeks. (Ours was exactly 20 weeks)

Now some stop there however depending again on reasons I listed about some will do 1 more at around 36 weeks that they call a growth ultrasound to measure how far along baby is. Most OBs do this at your check ups on your belly but the US is more accurate so it depends on their choice and your insurance. (We have ours at 35.5 weeks, on Monday).

I been getting 1 every week since I was 20 weeks

I’ve had 4

First two done with my fertility doctor at 6 and 8 weeks

Third was at 10 weeks with my regular obgyn

Fourth was 18 weeks for anatomy scan. Don’t think I get any more but not sure as this is my first baby

Just 2... the first to confirm it and see how far along i was and then the anatomy one at 20-21wks.

This pregnancy just 4, no more are planned- the 4th was because I fell otherwise it would have been 3- I’m sure they might later if a need arises. My last pregnancy, I don’t know 18? At the end I had one every week because of gestational diabetes- luckily I don’t have it this time around!

With my first pregnancy I only had two one at 8 weeks one at 20 weeks

Second baby

First one at 6 weeks

Second 19 weeks

Third 31 weeks to check babies position and fluid.

Fourth: 36 weeks to recheck babies positions due to baby being transverse.

4, the initial one that’s the transvaginal ultrasound, then 2 regular ultrasounds & 1 at the hospital when I went in w contractions right before delivery. That’s what I think it’s normal, but if you go to the hospital for any reason you’ll get a few more done.

I’m high risk so I have been getting one every month since 12wks
