Well, my husband would never and has never called me any hurtful names. But I think it would depend on the situation if he would "stick up" for me or not.

Even though he will always support me and have my back, I don't think he would "stick up" for me in public if I chose to be a jackass.

For example, if someone out of the blue came up to me and started a fight. Then yes my hubby would stick up for me. But if I picked a fight with someone and I wasn't in any physical danger, he would let me fight my own battles.

I’m sorry but if you can’t stick up for your girlfriend, then there might be a bit of a issue, we have a 2 yr old together so he think this behavior is ok! And it’s no! My son needs to learn to stick up for his gf when he has one and how to be polite and not a complete jackass to girls
