I think I was ready like 37/38 weeks w my first and day of with my second. Really not much a newborn needs besides you, milk, warmth and shelter. I highly recommend making some crockpot freezer meals tho so once baby is there and you’re home you don’t have to cook, just throw a bag of food into a crockpot. And get liners so you don’t have to clean up

I promise everything else falls into place.

I can’t even start anything until 34-35 weeks, so don’t feel overwhelmed! All I have at this point is a few outfits. We’re moving in late September early October I can’t do anything until then.

I felt “ ready at “ 37 weeks, but honestly most of everything I was worrying about getting “ done” and last minute stuff to buy was unnecessary and now I wish I could go back in time & tell myself stop stressing ❤️

I agree I had the back n play up but not much else you can do until they are here because you don't know what size clothes diapers ext.

I honestly just started feeling ready, and I'll be 37 weeks on Sunday. Most everything is done and ready to go- except batteries in the bassinet mobile, breast pump set up, and my hospital bag. Thats all thats left really!

Yeah I can't get anything set up till we move into our new place it should be sometime in the next month

It took me until 39 weeks. We had the nursery done at 30 weeks, but we were still buying things here and there for the nursery. Just focus on having the basics - a place to sleep, baby’s essentials for feeding, and your postpartum items to make you feel comfortable after delivery.

Don’t let yourself get too overwhelmed. The baby really just needs you in the beginning. 😊 I regret letting myself get so stressed.

38 weeks today and I finally feel done with everything baby related!
