@pettybetty, I know I have no problem with it I’m just saying I’m a c-section person but wish I could of had my kids naturally

Nothing wrong with that.

Feel like most of them could be avoided if women stopped pushing themselves into labor because they’re “uncomfortable” and just let their body go into labor on their own. I know 2 women who just had emergency csections for that reason. Because their body wasn’t ready but they forced it

@k_nc, I got told my cervix will always be to small for anything to come out of their which I’m hoping to find a different doctor which I did switch doctors 2s and I got told I couldn’t well with my son I had a emergency I waited but he was to big to come out and I got told second time theirs no way I can have kids normally which I broke down because I want to have lot of kids but I guess it’s what the doctors say and how my body can handle

@mommyteam28, aw I’m so sorry that’s hard to find out! I’m totally not saying people who need them shouldn’t get them! Obviously if that’s your natural then that’s still amazing! I just get sick of women who are 36 weeks complaining that they’re just uncomfortable putting themselves into labor and then complaining about a csection cause their body wasn’t ready for labor

@k_nc, yes true as well I mean we all know how uncomfortable it’s gonna be but it’s worth it especially afterwards how you miss being pregnant like it’s a hard process yes but it’s better waiting till due date or till doctors are ready to try something

@sadie.w, I tried but i wasn’t able to because cervix to small like my heart still breaks but I’m hoping to find a doctor who’s been a doctor for a good while try to see maybe if I can get a 3 rd opinion on my next child but that will be in a couple years

Oooh! ChicanaCrazy 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've had nothing but csections. I wouldn't do it any other way. I feel like it's my body, my decision. Yes it's major surgery... but my body can handle it.

I think elective csections are also fine.

I think forcing your body into labor (like stated above) and then ending in csections by necessity rather choice, is a different situation.. and is dumb..

but I think each woman should have the right to chose her her birth plan. And if there is no serious medical issues, doctors should allow them to do so, rather vaginal or csections.

I also don't agree with calling vaginal delivery "regular labor."

I dunno if it's that csections are more common so much as they are talked about more.

Ugh i wish i could have experienced labour 😭 i literally cry about. I was in the begining stages and went in for a check up, the nornal weekly at 38w and my doctor was excited cause i was 3cm and 100% effaced without feeling much pain so he was going to induce me that day (we live in a small town and both surgeons were going to be gone over the weekend so if i wouldve gone naturally it would have been a 2h drive to the next hospital) until he couldn't feel the head. Turns out little dude flipped himself so he was butt first. 🤕 well he called the surgeon and scheduled my c section for the Thursday, and said of my contractions get closer to go in since they would need to do it sooner.

Now ill never experience a vbac in this town 😭 so ill never know what giving birth is like. They aren't organized enough with staff to save 2 lives in 7 minutes if something goes wrong. 😭 all i will ever know is getting a needle jabbed in my back over and over without being properly numbed and feeling the needle going down my spine. They also wouldnt tell me what was going on when he came out and wasnt breathing so my fiance hsd to get up and saw that clark was fighting so he would be fine and was trying to calm me. THEN the nurse, god i really fucking hate her, almost walked put of the o.r without even showing me my fkn child. 😐

Im Still traumatized. I think emergncy c section would've gone better then scheduled.

I didn't want a c section with my first, but circumstances were beyond my control as she was breech. I still went into labor naturally, but she wouldn't flip. Had a c section. Second decided to come at 33 weeks, no warning. I labored very quickly, was fully dilated and effaced but elected to have a c section because he has known heart issues and I couldn't justify trying to push him through such a small space and print him in further distress. I've come to peace with it both times.

There's no use crying or being upset over the way things happened for me. Both of my kids are doing well, and I don't need to beat myself up over it. It wouldn't do any good or make me feel better, anyways. I've had the comment "she was already fully dilated, she should have just had him naturally" with my second. Well, that's not ones business but my own. I chose the safest option for HIM at greater risk to myself. I'm pretty sure that's about the definition of loving someone more than yourself. You do what's best for them.

@techie_grrl, I completely understand your story of course you had to and you thought about your kids first as well but I mean to me I cried only because I had dreamed of always having lot of kids but now I’m only down to 2 more the most if not just 1 more but I thank god for the 2 he has already blessed me with

@mommyteam28 just don't let it make you become bitter. Not sure if you'd be open to adoption, but that could be another way to have a larger family. So many kids need good homes, and if you can provide that, they would be lucky to join your family!

@techie_grrl, I know just actually heart breaking but yes after that I really been open up to adoption so right now I’m in the process of finish school going to collage building everything for my family letting my kids grow that way when the time is right I have everything set and I’m good and hopefully by then I’ll also be married but yes I’m very opened and excited for adoption
