I’ve known since I was a child that if I had a son it would be Jaison but Jaxon and Lincoln were on the list just in case we changed our mind. If Jais would have been a girl, we would’ve named her Ariana. (Our girl name has changed now, though since that name is so popular)
@let_there_be_life, omg you’re not lying lol whenever we have baby #2, they’re gonna be nameless probably until after they’re born. Especially if it’s a girl
@mommaofjais, all the girls start with A so instead of Evangeline we used A. Than with my son instead of using jr. we used Israel, because in the Bible God gave Jacob the name Israel and my so name is Jacob so like a jr. but not. My other daughter is more common it’s just Aaliyah
@mommaofjais you ever see the movie my girl its the girls name
@gingiej1207, omg what a cute story!
And I’ve never heard of Vada. So cute.
@justgotaname, both of those names sound like someone famous! I don’t think Kolby Raye sounds too masculine but nothing wrong with a boy name for a girl! I have one!
@mommaofjais its cute but yet strong at the same time. He's named after his great grandpa
@mommytotheo, My SIL is naming her son Theodore when she has a boy and it’s just such a happy name! I love it!
@olivbee, Eliana (Elliana) is on my list ❤️
I really love Elias and Alana as a sibling combo. Too cute.
If my son was a girl his name would have been Charlotte Daphne but we won’t be naming a girl that anymore
My husband wanted a junior. So we almost named him Mark. If Sawyer was a girl he would have been named Sophie Rose
For my first I always was set on Brooklyn even before I got pregnant but me and my mom made a deAl if it was a boy id name him and if it was a girl shed name her somehow sunshine came up and it was a girl anyhow it ended up sticking and she is sunshine I love her name I mean everyone calls their kid sunshine or my sunshine and technically it's just her real name my second I wanted Eliza but hubby wanted her named after his grandma who died who was like his only mother so we named her vada (vay-duh)
We had a few we liked. Nathaniel, James, Maddox and Graham were contenders for first or middle but we wanted something a bit more unique. So when I found Cian (pronounced key-in) it was perfect! Cian Parker ❤
So far we've only met one other, spelled Kian who was several years older.
I wanted Kolby for a girl. Her middle name was already going to be Raye (family name) so I was afraid the whole thing was too masculine. We waited to make the final decision until she was born and went with Teagan. Still wish she was named Kolby sometimes!
With my son his name was Eli through all of my pregnancy untill a couple days after birth we named him Israel.
I was set on Elaina or Ariah but ended up on Avangeline. Because my so didn’t like the first two.
I always loved Jedidah but my husband hates it. So we went with Theodore if he would have been a girl it was have been Paisley
I was really stuck on Camilla for a long time but decided on Josephine instead.
For my son I wanted to name him Leighton but my husband hated it. We both loved Elijah but my step sister’s son has that name & we almost went with it anyways until we found the name Elias.
My daughter was close to being named Adriana or Eliana but I let my husband choose out a list of those and Alana & he chose Alana.
For my youngest I got my wish no matter what. It was Quinn for a boy a boy and Quinne for a girl
Boston! Bc of my last name lol Boston Massey just won't work.
Well first we were set on Aaron - my brother named his son that and his son was born a month before my son so no. And then Nathaniel but long story short it didn’t work out . So we set on Asher 😊
@kambam, awe he’s sooo cute!
How do you pronounce his name? I wasn’t sure if it was E as in Eagle or E as in Egg
@mommaofjais dont get me wrong i love his name and it suits him super well! Clark as in clark kent, superman and not many people have that name. The next will either be Lucas, (lex luthors half brother) Oliver(green arrow), for a girl im stumped. I liked chloe but the actress from smallville was found to be a huge sex ring person so now im like, nah. Nope. Lol Lana and Lois are the only one i like left to keep it in the superman genre 😂
@kaym, ah that would make sense
And yessss love that Quinn is based off of your husband’s name.
@gem_1618, Jaxon is definitely an adorable name! I’ll always like it
@mommaofjais, I love jack and wanted that but hubby changed it to Jaxon and I think that’s why I didn’t like it 😂
Also hubbies middle name is Quinten so we thought Quinn would be a cute way to kind of name the baby after him 😂
Exactly! For as weird as my son's name is everyone is just like ...whtevrr it's him 😂 @kaym
I love my sons name, he looks just like a Jaxon 😄🤷🏼♀️
We never got our Levani Danae. We had 3 boys instead.
@kaym, man, Jaxon is a lot more popular than I thought lol
Quinn is such a cute unisex name!!!
@kambam, I wonder that to with my son Kyden everyone told me I’d regret giving him a “weird” name now no one could imagine him being named anything else it just fits
My son is called Jaxon :)
We also liked Abe for him but stuck on Jaxon. Willow was going to be Lyra or Luna
@qwiona, Nova is just as pretty!! 😍
I feel you though. That’s one of the main reasons why we didn’t go with Jaxon bc my in laws cat’s name is Jax and it would have been just weird
Right, it's weird. Not sure if it's your mom love tricking you into thinking you picked the right name, or if you actually picked the right name and that's why you can't picture a different one 🤔
My youngest was very close to be Emily Quinn and would’ve been Jaxon Quinn if she were a boy thank goodness she wasn’t I wasn’t fond of Jaxon at all but hubby was stuck on it
@mommaofjais haha yeah I was still gonna go with it but I just felt like the name had already belonged to my cat. I thought it'd be awkward so I settled on Nova
@kambam, oh yes, for sure. I can’t see my son as anything other than Jaison.
I think it's cute but it's funny how unfitting other names are once you name your child
@sadie.w, Brandtly is so unique, love it! I love Dallas too but for a girl 🙊
@qwiona, it is very popular all of the sudden. It’s super cute, that’s why lol
I would have named my daughter Luna, my SO wanted it badly but the name just blew up last year...and I named my cat Luna like 2 years before 😂😂
Lucas 😭 but my hubby picked babes name and i picked god parents. Next one we sre switching i pick the name qnd he picks the god parents 🤷
He was almost Austin (husband's choice) but I won out. If he was a girl it probably would have been Elizabeth.
@lovelily, Evie is sooo cute, omg!
I love Declan, too. That’s close to the boy name we like if we ever have another.
Evelyn Rose. I wanted it soooo bad. I wanted to call her Evie. But my husband didn't get to name his last two kids with his ex wife so I let him pick and we went with Lillian.
For a boy I wanted Declan Nathaniel.
What other middle name would you put with rose? Harper has 2 middle names and I want to keep it going if we have another girl 🤔 last name is Askin
Anyone that like boys names for girls I wanna hear your feedback. My husband and I have a name picked out for our second daughter. If celebrities can do it then why can't we? In my opinion this name is better than James, Wyatt or Lincoln. I know I can't screen out the 'I hate that name, think of how much she will be bullied' comments but wish I could. We already have a Kamden and my husband really likes Kooper. For the longest time he wanted Kamden to be Jimi but we stayed with the K names since...
Girl names that start with A
Hi ladies! What are some of your favorite "A" names for girls? Hub and I decided that we wanted baby girls initials to spell ACT. And we like the middle name Camila but I can't decide on what A names to sound good with it. Please help!
