My first was not breastfeed and she was very independent and my second was exclusively breastfeed and yes that is a con because they get super attached and separation anxiety since they get use to being stuck on you

I asked my pediatrician this because mine is SUCH a mamas girl and doesn’t like for anyone but me to hold her. He told me that I’m home base for her. I’m all she knows from being in the womb. It’s not uncommon and she will grow out of it. She’s 8 months old today and still clingy lol.

- No ma’am! All your baby has ever known is you. Can’t spoil a baby. Definitely not a newborn. I wear my son all the time. He’s to the point now he likes his toys. I miss him being itty bitty. Now he’s a big punk 😅💙 I love every second of it. Every time he eats, I scroll through my phone. This app 🙈😅

@takesma, don’t think that hun. You’re doing fine. That baby spent 9 months inside of you, they are connected to you.

@takesma his dad needs to hush. Unless hes the one that pushed the kiddo out and is nursing him every 2 hours he has no say on how long you hold your baby. You give that baby all the loving you want. We support you 💕

@takesma yeah dont worry this bonding is absolutely essential for the babys secure attachment and boost of their immune system. They need this comfort from us right now. Hold on tight and enjoy it. He will be more independent in a few months
