Anybody else have to fill out a maternity allowance form and send it off? If so, how long was it before they got back to you? (They text me when they received it and said it can be 24 working days but wanted to see if it actually took that long)
I do 30 hours a week so hopefully I get the max lol couldn't be coping on 27 a week lol x
@catherineoneill.con I know one of my friends got £27 a week from it but she wasn't doing enough hours so get the max. I think if you want under 140 a week, you get the 27 because it's either/or
@charsarah r u serious they were only going to pay u 27 pound a week that's ridiculous shitting myself now thank you x
@catherineoneill.con because you said you were gonna follow this, they took their 24 working days to the day. Had a letter telling me they were going to pay me £27 a week. Looked in my bank account and they've actually upped it to the standard £140 a week as I paid my national insurance for last year very recently
@rhirhi93 they've got until Thursday and then hopefully I know what's happening for my birthday 🤞
Yep still waiting for them too get back to me it’s being nearly 4 weeks 🙄🙄🙄 wish they’d hurry up
@shannonmiguel yeah I worked out 24 working days from when they text me is 24th July 😭
@catherineoneill.con I'm self employed and only just got round to paying my national insurance for past year. All they literally asked for (as I've filled in my self assessment online) was for the maternity slip from my midwife. You can only sign and send it off when you have 14 weeks of your pregnancy left. And then I forgot until I was about 28/29 weeks before I sent it off signed for. So need to wait until the 24th July before I can chase it up
@catherineoneill.con I would guess you would
