Two days after I posted this post I found out I was pregnant and we had our miracle baby!

Fantastic news! Congratulations!

I used myeggbank where we had six eggs, four survived thaw and fertilization, and two grew to day five for the transfer. I ended up with just one singleton in the oven (27+5 weeks) and nothing left to freeze. A fresh donor would have given us more options, but I'm too old for IVF in another year anyway.

Can't wait to meet our little girl in a few months! ?

Me I'm doing okay 7dp 5dt and still bfn. Holding out for my beta, but I know. This was my only chance so I will bow out gracefully on Thursday. But make sure you keep me updated.

Not to bad. Not much sleep last night. About 1am cramps and backache started life AF is coming. I know it normal, but a few of them have stopped me in my tracks. Just hoping someone is setting up camp down there lol. I glad your doing well, all except the nausea, at least it held off a bit before it got real bad.

I'm feeling better! Still some spotting once in a while.

Now I'm just trying to deal with the nausea and some vomiting. Today it's really bad but I can't complain! I love having all the pregnant symptoms but the nausea is really bad....

This morning I went to the bathroom and there was a lot of blood... I just lost it.... I started crying and freaked out.... I called my RE and went it for an emergency scan. I thought for sure I was loosing the baby. But for my surprise everything was ok. The baby is measuring perfect and has a stronger heartbeat (133bpm). There is no explanation for the bleeding. I'm still bleeding. I just went to the bathroom and had some big clots of blood. I'm still very worried. ?

Lily, that is wonderful. I defiantly feel like I'm on pins and needles. We're 20 mins early, with a full badder.

Mrslikos all the RE said was that the embryo was measuring exactly on point (6w6d)!

After hearing the heartbeat I realized this could be my miracle and something changed inside of me! I am more positive but at the same time I know I have to take one day at the time.

That's is absolutely wonderful news!!????

Second scan today. So far everything is ok! We heard the heartbeat for the first time! It was amazing! 124bpm ???

Next Monday going in again for another scan.

We didn't hear because it was too early...., but the dr said the hb was nice and strong (119bpm).

Hope my little one is still growing strong. The not knowing kills me... This time I am way more anxious then last week....

I saw your post about how many you should transfer! I would transfer all 3 if I was you!

We find out tomorrow, either Sunday or Tuesday. I'm so glad your doing good! Have you heard the heartbeat yet, or is that Monday?

Just checking in to see how your doing? We had egg retrieval yesterday and got 3 eggs. Got the call this morning, and all 3 fertilized. I hope your news is all good too!

You should call your dr and see if they have checked your progesterone levels and let them know what is going on. Progesterone can help. I'm not saying I'm sure it will with you but I would defiantly call them and let them know what is going on. Still praying for you! Keep your head up!

I'm not taking progesterone. Last blood work was last Saturday. I didn't even call my doctor. There is nothing they can do. I'm resting now and will take it easy all weekend.

Scan went great today! We have 7 follicles well defined. Tech said we could have up to 14 by Monday. We're looking at trigger shot on Tuesday, and retrieval on Thursday. My niece is handling this like a champ. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful egg donor!

I've been doing ok.... One day at the time..., I have some mild cramps...,but this morning I started spotting (some light pinkish ?). Monday I have my scan and I'm prepared for the worst.

That would be 6 weeks then? Heartbeat can sometimes be detected at 6 weeks. I don't think it's 100% too early...probably good to check in early on things. Good luck!

First ultrasound schedule for next Monday at 2pm. Isn't it too soon? I'm not sure but I think I'm 5 weeks today....

I know it hard but we're hear for you. Whenever you feel over whelmed, long deep breaths.

Trust me if I could have my own genetic child it would awesome. I'm going through a know donor. So keep breathing, and looking for that positive, and try not to any expectation until your outta the danger zone. Just don't forget we're here for you.

Lily you NEVER know what can happen. Maybe this was the plan all along. Maybe THIS will be a miracle baby. Just maybe...

As long as you levels go up that's good. And then you can get the new blood test that can tell you if your baby is genetically ok. It's just as accurate as an amino only it can be done way earlier at about 8 wks pregnant.

Mrslikos- I do feel a little more relaxed. I try to be positive but I just can't. I am so afraid of having hope again and then once more get hurt. You are right- this is in God's hands now.... I have to be prepared and take one day at the time....

Hi Hun I would go with option one if it where me... I went through ivf in December 2013 and am now 13 weeks 4 days pregnant... At my retrieval they got 10 eggs out of 10 only 8 where mature and out of the 8 only 4 fertilized and out of 4 only. 3 where good... They implanted 2 and I am pregnant with 1 baby...so we have one frozen baby as well!!!

But you need to do what you want!!!

We spent total of $37,000 but all worth it!!!

Hang in there girl. God has a plan for you. I know it's hard to see right now. But try to relax and put it gods hands. This might be your golden egg. You'll be in my prayers. My motto is to always find the positive in the negative. Hopefully everything will work out.

If it's unusual poas, or call your RE. I would make sure before you get to far into this. Just remember it only takes one and this one could be it. GL and keep us updated.

Well..... I am a little worried (to be honest I'm freaking out..). My cycles are always around 24-25 days and my last period started 01/28. Even with the diminish ovarian reserve I do get pregnant really easy (3 mc in the last year) but because of my translocation the pregnancies always end in mc. I'm afraid to do a pregnancy test.... I can not be pregnant.... Gosh.... My boobs are sore... (Hope that's af coming). I never had a 28 day cycle. Can it be late because last month I did the gonal-f injection? I did have a period after the injection but this is the first cycle after...

MChelle80- option 2 is a NO. I won't do a shared donor. I think option 1 is the best one. If we decide to have more babies I want them to be from the same donor. I don't know if I can afford more then 1 cycle with ED. We still have to talk to the financial coordinator and find out exactly how much each one of the options will cost and what's covered by our insurance.

Mrslikos- I did talk to DH. I told him I may change my mind after we have a baby and maybe I will agree that one is enough. All I want is to have the option if we decide to have more. I think now he understands!

I would look at the odds with your clinic with DE including specific to your diagnosis, age, any diagnosis with your husband and any other factors. Just to have a little better idea on how many you might need. Is there a way to know what the donor has produced before? if there's been successes? Or would you be using new donor?

I also agree with mrslikos in having a serious talk on numbers. One or both of you may change your mind during the process or after having one but definitely a key to decide before deciding which option. Can you afford more than one cycle if you go with shared cycle? Are you okay waiting longer to match with another couple and donor? If you have to do a second cycle for another child are you okay with them possibly being from different donor?

We didn't have the multiple options when we used DE... only the first. It seemed worth it to me though knowing we'd likely have another chance or two with frozen. Luckily we had success with our fresh and 3 straws/chances with frozen.

Have you talked this out with DH? My DH is set on only one. I explained I wanted more than one. I also told him we had to be sure we got the first one, that is why we agreed to freeze. I told him we could discuss #2 down the road but having frozen eggs would be half the battle and much cheaper. GL Lilly and baby dust to you!
