So I'm freaking out about gaining 7lbs at my halfway mark because my midwife doesn't want me to gain more than 15 pounds total..... I feel this might be impossible this pregnancy. My 1st pregnancy I lost a lot of weight.
@justlynn I lost 2lbs the 1st trimester, then I started to gain at 18weeks. So that's what concerned me because i gained 7lbs since 18weeks lol now I'm 20weeks.
@calebsmommy, girl I gained 42lbs with my son and with this pregnancy I’m considered “overweight” but They didn’t tell me I can only gain a certain amount either ... i haven’t been watching what I eat because this baby is BEYOND PICKY lol I eat healthy without trying😂 I’m 34 weeks and gained 8-10lbs not sure exactly cause I keep losing and gaining the same 2lbs lol I think as long as ur feeling good and ur baby is doing great it’s okay ❤️ don’t stress it! Pregnancy is a time to enjoy!
My ob said since I'm considered over weight I'm suppose to gain 11-15 pounds this pregnancy and so far I've actually lost 15 pounds and only gained 4 of those pounds back at 21 weeks.😒 I feel better gaining alot of weight but this pregnancy really has me with no appetite and terrible morning sickness.
@heilwife317 Thank you for that encouragement, I'm not going to stress about it because I feel great 😆 I love "Que Sera sera"
@joyfulmom2b definitely not malnutrition. The typical weight gain range is 15 to 30 lbs depending on your weight pre-pregnancy. Some end up losing because of morning sickness and are still fine, others gain more than planned. We are all different and though we can try to stick within medical suggestion the best we can do is eat healthy and let what will be be instead of stressing. @calebsmommy no worries girl. I know 15 lbs is a really tight margin but if you go over it won't be the end of the world either. Just eat the best you can and think "Que Sera Sera" what will be will be. 😍
I gained 24 kilos with both pregnancies! Haha I was only “allowed” to gain 13kgs. Oops.
@joyfulmom2b Yes the the whole pregnancy lol I did look at her crazy but just said okay I'll try. @zaynesmommy1889 I guess because my son was born so early last time and I'm overweight. My check up in next week so I'll talk to her more about it
@joyfulmom2b, if you are overweight to start with, they want you to gain less. But I do not know if that is OP’s situation or not.
Yea that’s not normal weight u can look it up.. that’s almost malnutrition
Like throughout pregnancy? Last time I checked 35lbs was normal not including if ur skinny u gain more
@jerseymomx2 Thank you, I'm actually vegetarian so I thought "hey this should be easy" lol this baby always has me hungry
