Ughhhh my manager apparently didn't understand that when I couldn't finish out my shift yesterday, that I am doneeeee working until after baby 😪😪😪 so they are calling me asking where I am and blah blah blah... I am going in now to finish out this shift and this will be my last shift. I really love my job and want it to still be available to me when I am done healing from c section.... I don't want to go in but I feel like if I don't they're gonna try and make me lose my job.

So here we go.....

@babymay2016, there’s paperwork you need to file. Your doctor needs to fill it out. If you want to be rehired you should make sure you go through the proper channels.

@babymay2016 hopefully HR told you the right thing! That is interesting that you don't get any breaks though...I thought that state laws everywhere mandated that you had to have a break... I can see why you be struggling with that!

@laniejay I am trying but keep being told so many different things.... I don't qualify for FMLA. I was told by HR finally, that I can leave when I want and I have my job still as long as I come back within 6 months

@techie_grrl 7-11. But Oklahoma 7-11 are seperate from all other 7-11 in the US. And like the rules are crazy.... We don't get any breaks. That's why I can't do it anymore. No sitting

Where do you work? When was in Oklahoma, I literally had to reapply to my job managing a photography studio after a surgery that required two weeks of healing. 🙄

@laniejay they are so sketchy about everything and I am going to the main office tomorrow to get it in writing that I can come back..
