So my unborn daughters dad wants to keep her a secret. None of his friends or family knows, just one of his cousins! It bothers me, I’ve talked to him and he says “well she’s my business, not anyone else’s.”
I hate it so much! I feel like she will never know who her fathers side of the family is!
@masseymomma16, I tell everyone. I post about her all the time. But he found out 2 of his friends was on my snap and he was like take them off they don’t need to know. It’s my business. Like it makes me feel like shit. Plus he left when I told him I was pregnant.

He’s probably just a really private person about his personal life, maybe his family is really opinionated and he doesn’t want to deal with it right now. I think he’ll come around to it eventually.

@momzillaof3, I mean my whole family has to know, why doesn’t his?! I asked a guy friend why he would keep her a secret, and he said “if I kept mine a secret, then I wouldn’t think it was mine.” Makes me wonder if that’s why he left and is keeping her a secret.
@mommyof3. Could be, or he might try and not be in her life 😳 his family is gonna be so hurt if their just finding out when shes born. Thats their grandchild/niece/cousin. Hes for sure being pretty weird about it.

He's an ass. Good thing y'all are not together. If he was treating me and leaving me while pregnant i wouldn't want anything to do with his family and them knowing would be the least of my worries.

@momzillaof3, we were together for 10 months and I only met his mom and brother once, so I don’t know his family.
Does he mean keep her a secret forever? Or just the pregnancy? My pregnancy isn't necessarily a "secret", but my husband and I still haven't officially shared the news with anyone. We wanted to enjoy this ourselves and not get any extra attention because his family specifically can be a little over the top.

Wether they know about her or not, you can't force a relationship between them and the baby. He's the middle man in this situation and hopefully he changes his attitude once he has his daughter in his arms. Dont stress it😊
