Anyone here deal with symphysis pubic disorder or pelvic girdle pain while pregnant?

@glencoco, so what were your symptoms? I am having sharp pain in my pelvic/groin area mostly on one side. It hurts to stand and walk. Sitting is uncomfortable but manageable.

@gypsymomma, lots of cracking and popping. I was ok walking but couldn’t do anything more than 3 hours and afterwards I wouldn’t be able to get off the couch I was in so much pain. I couldn’t spread my legs, roll over in bed, use the stairs, etc with out almost crying. It just felt like my pelvis was being ripped apart.

@gypsymomma yes I've had these same symptoms for months now. Thought it was related to my fibromyalgia, but came to this conclusion after research.

@glencoco, I don’t have the popping or cracking. But it does feel like I’m being ripped in half when I do the stairs and try to roll in bed.

@moifait, that is my best guess and of course he doc doesn’t want to do anything or evaluate me for it. I also have fibromyalgia. Which isn’t making any part of this pregnancy any easier.

Pretty sure I've had spd since 20 weeks with how much pain I'm in, but there isn't a way to test for it. And no treatment really. So the doctor won't really discuss it past "you are preggo with twins, need a note for work?"

@ohnstadk, I have a singleton though. And they won’t give me a note for work. Hopefully your doctor will give you a note. Sorry you have been going through it for so long.
