Everything’s good thanks @fififmrbtteg, just had to see a couple of consultants. Gotta have an ECHO and a heart monitor for 24hours and then going to have a more in depth ultrasound of baby’s heart on Tuesday then again at 28weeks to make sure it’s all perfect. It was all working as it should on my 2weeks scan so hopefully it has stayed that way xx
I had open heart surgery when i was 2 due to having atrial septal defect and pulmonary stenosis and was referred to see a cardiologist to make sure that baby’s heart is ok. We had our 20week scan and his heart was perfect and working perfectly but they just wanna take a more in depth look next week. I’ve had an ecg today which was ok but when he listened to my heart she said I had a leaking valve which is what I already knew. I know if u have been getting heart palpitations and shortness of breathe they usually put a 24hr ecg monitor on to record your heart.x
@mrsmowmow, can u not ask for one hun? Maybe pay for one just to put your mind at ease. We were told he would have a 2-3% chance of having congenital heart disease but as our 20week scan was fine he said not to worry about it, and also not to worry about him having the same issues as me because there not hereditary. He is a strong bubba your right!! I can’t wait to see him on Tuesday💙 xx
