Girls am I wrong? I asked my SIL to be one of my birth partners but she hasn’t bothered to message or see us since unless we message first or go see her. Am I wrong in not wanting her there now?

Not wrong at all.... if someone never bothered with me I wouldn't want them there and it's your choice as to who you have there xx
@nicolemariehooperxo, she was excited when I asked her but unless we go see her or message her first she doesn’t bother what so ever and she only lives down the road I just think if she’s not bothering now why would she when the baby’s here?🙄xxx

@courtniek98x Yeah there's just no excuse for it is there... if it was me I wouldn't bother and just have someone else there. Can't stand people who don't bother then want to when baby comes😴xxx

@abbyrose, exactly! She’s gonna want to see the baby when it’s here but I won’t be going out with her for a good few days so she probably won’t bother cos she has to make an effort xxx
@nicolemariehooperxo, it’s just annoyed me really bad because she doesn’t bother even giving me a message to ask if we are okay or anything and she’ll expect to watch the baby being born because I’ve asked her to be my birthing partner but she hasn’t bothered with us for weeks it’s not gonna happen xxx
@courtniek98x well you just don't make the effort. You shouldn't have to anyway it should be her! Just don't message her about seeing the baby or nothing let her come to you about it first xxx
@courtniek98x why should you have to message all the time? Works both ways, you make the effort and she doesn't... and to be honest if she started making the effort once babies here I'd be like nah... 👋👋 you didn't bother before why would you now? Families annoy me sometimes! Maybe you're more annoyed with the situation because of what you and baby have/still/are going through with the strep b...so you've been under alot of stress 😩 which is when you need them the most!!! XXX

Fair enough we all have our own lives but when she doesn’t work and her daughter is at school is it so hard to walk 10mins up the road and have a cuppa?🤦🏼♀️ I’m just gonna stop all contact and see what happens xxx

@ezchaz, I just feel so annoyed at her! I asked her to be there because I know if anything (god forbid!) went wrong my partner wouldn’t be able to stay calm ect but now I’m regretting asking her because she just doesn’t bother xxx

It’s one of the most precious things in life to witness , if you’ve had hardly no contact since asking her id be changing my mind about her to be honest xxx

Yes Hun I would definitely reconsider , this is an amazing and special time for you and your partner you need people to there who truly do support you xx

I see my sister in law every few months if that due to her job. And we only hear from her really if we message first but she does try. But its totally your choice x
@vic22, she doesn’t work and that’s the only time we speak is if we message her first it’s like she’s thrown it in my face
Ah 😑 I wouldnt bother then hun tbh im close with my fellas sister but i wouldn't wont her seeing my bits lol. 😂
