I know that postpartum depression is common, but what about during the pregnancy? I have a happy life with my husband and baby girl, but lately I’ve just been so down and emotional. I constantly wish this pregnancy was over with, but I’m only 22 weeks along. Has anyone else ever felt this?

@bperrier, I do go on walks with my daughter almost everyday and that always clears my head. But my husband works all day everyday and no one ever comes to see me anymore so I have no one to talk to. So all these thoughts and emotions just build up endlessly in my head

🙋🏻‍♀️ I did really bad between 35-38 weeks. Exercise and talking about it helped.

Yes, absolutely. I think hormones changing plus generally not feeling yourself plus all the restrictions of pregnancy can contribute to depression. I’ve struggled hard this entire pregnancy with depression ESPECIALLY in weeks 20-27. Delivery feels so far away and all the fun newness has worn off :/
