Birth story 🙏🏽 “ FAST DELIVERY W/ COMPLICATIONS AT THE END “

So July 5 I went in for my Drs. appointment and she told me to go home and pack, and come back be admitted, we waited in the waiting room for 6 hours because I was last minute induction. Well later on that night they put us in a room where high risk patients stay while they wait to be induced, Friday came around and they’re like “ oh you have 2 more ahead of you “. Well Friday night around 11:45pm they moved us to our room where I would deliver, when I got there they explain how everything would go, first they would put a cook balloon, then they would come back around 3am and start me on pitocin, and later on my amniotic bag would be popped. Well one Dr. came in and and checked my cervix and then said I was “ 4cm dilated, 70% effaced, and -2 “ the nurse asked if I needed the balloon, and the Dr. wasn’t sure since she isn’t my Dr. but they still inserted the balloon and around 1am my Dr. came in and she said to start me on pitocin since I was 4cm and that the balloon wasn’t really necessary. Well at 2am my water was popped and it was the waiting game, I was in so much pain, I was breathing and trying my best. Around 3am real labor started, I was in the worst contractions started coming, I tried to relax my body and got in the birthing tub, my husband was right there helping me with relaxing and breathing, as they got closer and closer I got out and I decided I was going to sit on the birthing ball, but something told me “No” so I lied down and contractions are back to back, at this time I don’t know anything anymore, my body is taking a whole new pain. The nurses try to come in and ask if I wanted the epidural, I said no, my body was made for this and this is how I wanted to do it, then suddenly I feel that I need to push, I scream “ Call the nurse “ and she comes in and checks my cervix and she’s like you’re 7cm and I’m like ok, I cannot push, so I am breathing through contraction after contraction, and i feel the baby’s head coming, so I scream “ I can feel her head coming “ and they rush in the room and call my Dr. they set me up and tell “ Next contraction push “. So next contraction comes and I push, then they start counting 10,9,8,7etc. and they’re like ok relax, so I do, then next contraction comes and I start to push again, and the counting starts again, my husband was there being so helpful and supportive, and then he goes she’s almost out baby one more push, so when the next contraction comes, I push and she’s out, I was done pushing at 5:51am I was relieved... BUT little did I know I wasn’t done... they were trying to find out if the bleeding was from my placenta, so the first Dr. that came in to place the balloon has her fist in my vagina cleaning and cleaning and pushing down on my belly... as soon as she notice it’s not from the placenta, she’s trying to find the source of the bleeding and she starts to say “ get Dr. Ortique back in here FAST “ and she rushes in and she starts to put her whole fist in my vagina and starts to check and she’s like we have to get her to the OR... I’m starting to pass out, I cannot even keep myself awake ... and then the anesthesiologist comes and next thing I know is I’m waking up to being hooked on oxygen and inside my vagina .... as I’m starting to wake up they explain to me everything that happened and what they did to me. My throat is in pain, and they explain they had a tube down my throat and it was going to take some time to feel better...

Well my cervix had a tear due to baby pushing her head through my cervix that wasn’t fully dilated ... I lost a gallon of blood and had to be on blood transfusions...

My delivery was pretty fast started labor at 3am and delivered by 5:51am but I was fighting for my life myself... as they couldn’t find the tear on my cervix... luckily they found it before I bled out ....
