- Your baby’s stomach is nowhere near that big.. by pumping you’re creating oversupply. Which @jaygirls, is right. It’s a pain. You’ll get mastitis if you don’t pump after every feeding. And that pesky leaking will happen more often.. colostrum is the most important stuff for your baby!

@caysensmommy my youngest daughter also had a bad latch. Try a nipple shield. Also have doctors or lactation consultant can check for a lip and tongue ties which are reasons for a bad latch

@caysensmommy hand express so that you are not completely full. You are rock hard because your milk is about to come in. It takes 4-6 weeks for your body to regulate. Its a mind over matter type of thing. Also take a warm shower or use a warm towel will help you relieve it.

Trust I had oversupply for all 3. The first two was so horrible I caught mastitis a few times because of pumping. For this one a lactation consultant and 9 other girls who use to be on this app helped me day by day get through all the engorgement phase. A strong support team can really do justice. ❤

I still have an oversupply but not as intense as my first 2 times.

- Did lactation give you a shield ? If not get one! My son wouldn’t latch to one of my breasts at first. It was a struggle for four days. The shield was so helpful!

Great stuff! I’m pumping and it’s not medically necessary. You have to do what’s right for you and your situation. I started pumping the day I was leaving the hospital

Thats amazing. Freeze it by splitting it in 2oz and lay the storage bag flat. Also you should try to avoid pumping for the 1st 4-6 weeks until your supply regulates to baby's need unless medically necessary. Pumping increases your chances of mastitis and oversupply.

I’m the hospital they call that liquid gold for the baby! Full of vitamins and good stuff :)

Yes it's still probably your colostrum it will slowly start turning white it also will turn that color again when your child gets sick.
