Those mamas who are TTC or recently got pregnant, Did you use any ovulation apps to track your ovulating days??

@kalixta, what is bd? I got me some ovulation tests today to test. I know you ovulate 14 days from the 1st day of your menstrual cycle.

I used Glow, Ovia, and pink pad..my ovulation days were all off by a few days on those apps so we bd on most the days just to be sure..

@ashleyrod, CD14 meaning cycle day right? I appreciate your advice girl! 💗 I am definitely testing & double checking for my ovulation days.

yeah since you have the more normal 28 day cycle

then it should be cd14 but i was just saying to be extra sure. you should always still test. starting from cd 10 so you can see how your body is at least 2 months and then you can know 100%

@ashleyrod, Well from my understanding, I know you ovulate 14 days after the first day your cycle begins. & usually my cycles are 28 days. & lasts for 4 days. & I’ve been writing down when my cycle begins & ends.

your app may not be accurate tho so according to your how long

your cycle is you start like cd 8 or cd 9 to see when your line will actually get as dark or darker

than the control line

@ashleyrod, I was looking into the ones that show the two lines. I am buying some on Monday & testing Tuesday since according to my apps I ovulate Tuesday.

@mommysince2014 no I never did. When my bf and I were ttc we just had sex pretty much every day and more often around the time the app said I was going to ovulate. Didn't put too much focus on it, no stress, and conceived in about a month or 2

@mommysince2014, no it gives you what every opk gives you. it’s just there are different ones like the ones with the smiley faces or just the ones that show you the two lines.

@ashleyrod, That’s amazing!! It gives you a lot more info that just a regular ovulating tests. I was looking into just getting regular ovulation tests. I wanted to take a test on the day the apps say I am ovulating just to be sure of it.

it tells you your lh surge which is what happens before you ovulate. roughly 12-48 hours depending on your body.

@mommysince2014, also i would use opks. you could buy them off amazon and they aren’t expensive. so you can just determine more or less when you’ll ovulate.

When I got pregnant 4yrs ago I did download this ovulating app and it worked. I honestly didn't think it would work because my husband and I have been trying for years before that. Then a month later we found out we were expecting.
