I did every 6-12 months I would do the test every other time i went in to get my depo shot now I’ve only done it with pregnancy and once a year

@laniejay, I never got tested for stds but I agree with @laniejay, every time you do it with someone new you should get tested so you know who you caught something from (if you do catch something)

It just depends on how many sexual partners(no judgement here) but I’d think the more you have, the more you should be checked

The only time that I ever got tested was when I was pregnant because I’ve only had one partner and that’s my husband, my husband has also only had one partner which is me, me and him will be married for 3 years in August ☺️💕

If you have more then one partner then I’d get tested more often just to be on the safe side even if you do use protection I’d still go get tested to be extra safe.

@amberjacq, ya that was me 7 months ago then he decided to leave. But anyways I’m thinking about every 6 months but I’m not sure
