At what age did you give your child a pillow? I don’t want to give one to my daughter but she is very interested in having one. So much she is doing anything she can to make one. She has taken the changing pad off the changing table that’s attached to her crib and folded it into one, folded her small tag blanket into one, and just today took down her baby Einstein sound machine and used it as one. I don’t know how the last one was comfy but she did it.

I co-slept so my son became interested in them when he turned 1 so that’s about when I would let him sleep on one

I gave my son a pillow when he was around a year and 9 months. Just a small thin one to give his head a little comfort. He has a little travel pillow now for his toddler bed but he doesn't like to use it so instead he uses a throw pillow, I think he prefers the firmness

Around 1.5-2 is when we started with real pillows and blankets

I think most doctors say two years, (at least according to what I've read) but all the toddler pillows I've found say 18m+. He got one a few months ago.

We tried after he turned 1.5. But I was terrified he would suffocate. So we took it away and gave it to him once he was in a big boy bed when he was just about 2.
