Me! I am in the Cherokee tribe and my sons are Cherokee. My oldest is a quarter Cherokee and a quarter Choctaw. From Oklahoma here!
Wow, that's really cool. I'm interested in knowing more
@morelhunter i believe the one in ND. It's where they built the DAPL to disgrace my husband's and sons ancestors. I named my second son josiah Lakota souix to honor my husband's bloodline. My husband is also related to Sitting Bull
@contrerasyes86 lol mine too, but that is a very sacred gift for your sons to have long hair, but when someone cuts it and violates that sacredness. They have torn something very important to the ancestors of that child's culture apart. That hurts
@igeerry yes they are. They have long hair too people call them girls sometime and their boys.
@contrerasyes86 aren't they adorable, I don't know why but I honestly think that natives have a higher IQ then a scientist
Wow nice, I'm white, but my boys are half and my husband is Lakota Sioux. They mean so much to me, and I love being my a mom of part native kids. It's like an honor, to have that opportunity
Me too, and so are my boys. Just letting you know, even though it is July 4, and many many years ago, you are loved, and you should be treated with equal rights
@majorreign wow, that's awesome. Their are so many different tribes and rezes out there, one of these days I'm going to have to go visit all of them with my family
