Okay ladies, this is going to be my third child. I have never really attempted breast feeding my boys. But I’m so positive on breast feeding this baby!
Can anyone give me some tips on breastfeeding??
Please and Thank you.

@mommyof3. You're welcome:) i also suggest to take a breastfeeding class if you can, i took one and it was the biggest help. If you have WIC they have classes for that:) best luck
@tasticmel, where do you get it? @amyrachellem, @melissaredfield87, @mrs.hibben, @knockout, @myafaithh224, @myafaithh224, @noenahiza, @malbhurtado, thank you ladies for the advise! I’m so excited and hoping that this will successfully work! Positivity is key. 👏🏼💁🏼♀️
Check into insurance covered breast pumps! You will definitely want one. Your insurance should cover one for you. To keep
@mommyof3., Pinterest has a bunch of do’s and don’t while breastfeeding! That’s where I learned all the foods I could eat while I was nursing. Start reading and watching videos. I put myself on a strict diet because I didn’t want to give my babygirl colic. I also ate lots of oatmeal, and drank lots of water.
Like the other ladies said push through it will get easier! I promise
@malbhurtado, 🙌🏽YES THANK YOU! I was just talking about this. Breastfeeding ISNT easy. It is hard, and painful, and stressful; but SO WORTH IT. I hate it when I see mommas set up for failure because no one prepares them for how hard it is at first. It’s so easy to quit in the beginning, but it does get easier and it’s a bond you can’t get any other way. 💕
As long as you are eating semi healthy you should be good! I was so overworked because I wasn't eating and it eventually got to the point I passed out because I hasn't been eating. I would eat like a slice if bread here and maybe a bagel or something and id be lucky to eat that a day. Make sure to make time for your self as your health is just as important as the baby's.
@myafaithh224, anything specific that I should focus on?
Make sure you eat! It's so important to maintain your nutrition because baby's literally sucking it out of you so there's none left for your body.
Drink a lot of water!!!!! Be patients its going to be hard at first but dont give up:)
opinions about breast feeding while pregnant. the receptionist at my OB told me while making my appointment to start getting her off of the boob, because breast feeding causes your uterus to contract and can cause a miscarriage or preterm labor. any ladies breast feed your LO while pregnant and should I believe the receptionist?? my baby just turned 3 months on the 23rd .I give her breast and formula sometimes. any advice is appreciated👍
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
I'm not planning to breast feed but would you ladies recommend breast feeding for the first time or straight onto bottles? Everyone keeps telling me different and I need advice! 😓
