Does any mother believe a cry it out method is good in getting the baby use to sleeping in the crib independent

I've had them cry while being right there comforting them, but have never and wouldn't leave them alone to cry.

@bj1605 yeah that way baby knows you're still there and not gone and it's OK to sleep because you'll still be there

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, yeah that’s what I did I came to the room and put his pacifier and then I stood there and rub his belly and then left the room for a bit

Yes it worked very well and in 3 night. Never even cried long. We did it for our son when he was 7 months

I used the CIO method with my son and it helped. Of course you don't just leave the baby to cry until he falls asleep, you check on him now and then and try to soothe him a little but the point is not giving in.

@squishymommy1, my son was so use to sleeping in the crib at first because I never put him in my bed and couple months after I would wake up in the middle of the night half asleep and bring him to my bed and he is getting use to it and every time I put him in the crib he start to scream I know it’s my fault but I just want him to get use to the crib again

We sleep trained all our kids. Some included what is referred to as CIO. But there’s a lot of versions of CIO.
