I personally wouldn’t care what anyone else thinks, maybe use it as a middle name instead?

@aussiebub, I don’t really care what anyone will think, but just not sure if I like the idea of having so many Safiyas in the family lol especially they are all very small, so I guess they’re going to grow up together..

It's up to you what you do, if you like the name then go for it! But if you're worries that all the girls are gonna have the same name (lol) maybe make a variation, sapphire e.g x

@chesscalouise2, yeah I keep it as an option, but still these names sound very similar 🙈 There are different variations - Sophie, Sofiya, Safiya, Saufeeya etc and I don’t mind any of them but all sound close, don’t you think? Xx

@sashago I read safiya as sa-fee-a so not sure if maybe I'm just reading it wrong. It does sound similar but it's up to you afterall! But if you're worried incorporate it as a middle name or a double barrelled name! I agree though, it would be very confusing to have that many safiyas in the same family 😂 x

@ezchaz, Haha well my mum named her first daughter (my sister) - the same name as herself. 😂💁🏼‍♀️ everybody thought it’s weird but she didn’t care at all lol
