Trigger. Our precious boy Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
My son keeps rolling over and sleeping on his stomach when he sleeps, should I turn him on his back or let him sleep how he wants?
Patiently waiting for Camden to recognize his days and nights. Instead of sleeping all day and being up all night, and for him to kindly sleep at least 3 hours at a time instead of 2! :D
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

What time is his last nap & what time is he going to bed? I've had to shorten Max's day nap because he was taking ages to go in the evening. I also like him up no later than 2.30/3pm latest! Lol
Laura·
@sara-lou86 hes stopped napping in the day so he has one in the morning about 11 till half 12 max... then that's it till bed at half 7/8and hes still awake now :( xx
Sara-Louise·
Maybe he's getting over tired? 12-7.30/8pm is a long time to go. Could try slightly earlier... Mine go to bed about 7. But if they've had a tiring day & are getting ratty I have sent them 6.30pm lol
Laura·
@sara-lou86 He has his tea at 5.30 and a bottle before bed.. I just don't have a good routine with him and I dont know where to start xx

Try turning the tv off and have quiet time in his room. Maybe a warm bath before bed and then his bottle and a book. X
Laura·
@rachaellw I do a bottle and book and normally a bath he just won't settle its like he's over tired :( xx

Does he like try and get your attention to keep himself awake, is talking? being naughty etc?. Ive always had to literally ignore Brody just to get him to sleep, no talking eye contact etx. Min I show no interest he realises he ain't winning and goes to sleep.
Laura·
@beffgoude Yeah.. like sometimes he laughs... And I feel awful coz i end up getting annoyed and shouting "no" because I'm tired too and when its going on two hours I'm starting to wear thin.
He's nodded off now but I feel like we fall out every night:(
He goes to bed all is good then he just plays up for two hours atleast :( xx

You could try an earlier tea. I don't have a really strict routine. But tea at 5, bath 6. Stories and bed at 7. Some days it can be earlier, some later. Depends on their mood!

Now Max is in a bed he can take longer to fall asleep. But as long as he's happy I leave him to it. He has books and a doodle pad he likes to play with. If I kept going in he'd just think it was a game. Now once he's tired he lays himself down and goes off much quicker. I definitely believe an earlier bedtime helps sometimes. They may not seem tired but actually they often benefit from it. But their all different.

@laurabump27 I mean I can't say anything really, because Brody's always had a 8:30-9ish bedtime for this reason. He just got stressed and played up more when we tried to get him earlier and kept himself awake till that time then fell asleep. So we just assumed that was his natural bedtime. He's never done early mornings always got up around 9am/10am so he's getting enough sleep.
Now he's older and doing more he's taking himself to bed earlier and getting up earlier.
