Any ladies have a house with a basement? Also, have 2 rooms upstairs and 2 downstairs?
That’s how my house is and I really don’t know if when we have a baby should we switch our room to be downstairs and both kids upstairs?
I need a bigger house we have 5 adults and 1 child in our house and it's a 2 bedroom trailer. Karen has her room then me and hubby have our room then our 2 roommate sleep in the living room 😭 too many people in our house!

cats and babies My so and I haven't been able to have cats for years. Last year we moved into our own house. So says we can have a cat now.
And we are in... everything unpacked downstairs just got upstairs and our baby girls room to get sorted.... 21 days to go 😊🤰👶🏡

Ours is and we are moving his office downstairs and the kids in the room across the hall.

@raquely, yeah my daughter didn’t sleep through the night until she was 2. I’m assuming the next will be similar lol.

@alexistol, I think if my daughter were the age of your son I’d feel less scared about moving her downstairs. She’ll only be 3-4 when we have the next. I know for at least the first 6mo babe will be in our room as well.

My house is exactly like that. We are going to move our son downstairs and have the baby take his current room. I think it’s important to be as close as possible to the baby. We will have them in a bassinet for the first 6 months or so in our room so our son will have time to adapt to the change of new baby and changing rooms.

@raquely, @squishymommy1, my biggest thing with switching rooms or putting babe downstairs is going up or down the stairs in the middle of the night multiple times a night. I’m honestly considering putting us downstairs. That would give us our own private bathroom.

We have 3 floors. Our bedroom is on the middle floor (only bedroom on that floor). And the kids have rooms on the top and bottom floors.
