I had my HSG done yesterday on CD 10. I didnt think It was going to be bad but I did get scared before the procedure. I took a deep breath and told myself I could handle it. It turned out to be painful 😫 & barely bearable (but bearable nonetheless). After the first Injection of dye they couldn't see my right tube so I was told to lay on my side and then they had to inject more dye (imo: the dye is what makes it painful). They ended up seeing the dye finally pass through both tubes, then they stopped. In hindsight it wasnt the worst but I definitely don't want to do that again. This is just my experience.
