My step.mom has an equinox and it has plenty of room mine not so much for rear facing I just make it work lol idk anything 4x4 that is good

I used to have a kia sportage, I loved it. It was a little on the smaller side but it still had a decent amount of room in it that could hold 2 car seats easily.

I have an Infiniti QX60 & a Mercedes ml450 both fit 2 car seats with room. The qx60 has sliding seats so you can access the third row even with a base or front facing seat installed in the seat. My mom also have a Lincoln MKX that fits 2 seats (the inside is same size and style as Ford Edge).

I bought a Subaru Forester in 2006, it's still going strong and super comfy to drive/ride. We just had to buy a legit minivan because of impending baby, but the Forester is staying with us anyway! Love that thing, I'm pretty sure it's immortal.

We just got a bigger car for 3 kids but I had a Honda CR-V. Loved it and I will miss it. But my Honda CR-V was a 97. Don't know anything about the newer ones
