So my first dr visit was today and it was very disappointing! I didn't get to hear my baby heartbeat, the only thing they did was ask lots of questions and take my blood! I go back July 9th for ultrasound 😬

@yayacarrington, I'm 6 weeks today! I guess that's why they scheduled me to come back in 2 weeks

How many weeks are you? Usually they can't pick up a heartbeat until at least 8 weeks and they don't like to scare new moms by checking for it too soon.

Yeah some doctors don’t usually give an initial ultrasound until you’re about 8 weeks
