Can i feed my 4month old baby applesauce????

Not recommended to introduce solids until 6mo

I have always given mines a little bit just to see how they liked it

Eliana has had it! But she already eats baby food as well

I would wait until she meets all signs of being ready. Unfortunately it can cause a lifetime of issues by introducing solids too soon

I like the one on here where someone said my baby saw me eating and wanted some, they were reaching for it lol. Think the baby was 3 or 4 months. Lol. I would wait till 6 months. That is what is recommended by my pediatrician at least

My pediatrician said we could start at 5 months, so I did. I made everything at home and mixed in breast milk. I made apple sauce and he loved it. He sits up, he reaches for the food and is happy to eat. I think he was ready. He eats twice a day now.

Yes you can but in my experience I would start with something else maybe veggies once my kids got a taste of something sweet they preferred it and refused veggies.

We sgarted at 4 months per pedi and my sons is perfectly healthy thus far. Only start if you have been given the okay by your pedi. We were told to start with veggies. If you do give applesauce its probably best to give the unsweet kind I'm not sure though as he hasn't had it yet

@myboys1962, lol yeah we started giving Eliana baby food not long ago but was given the okay at around 4 months I don’t think the apple sauce would hurt your little girl

@mommy_x3 yea imma try it i already started the oatmeal...she be flying threw her milk it dont sticks to her

@myboys1962, Eliana has been on oatmeal in her bottle for her reflux... it’s starting to go away now though so I’m trying to put less and less each time in the bottle
