There are a bunch of new models coming out next year. Plus they are changing the LATCH rules so really heavy seats like Radians may not be ideal (combined weight of chair and kid has to be less than 65 lbs to use the latch). So I don't know what to do. I have to get a new seat eventually but I keep holding out hoping a new one will come along that fits all of my requirements (being less toxic the primary one).
I got a blue one off Amazon because that day it was $80 less than other colors.
We've taken on a plane, economy class. It fits great! A bit heavy to lug around the airport. Flight attendants commented they hadn't seen many seats on board. Dd behaved well and fell asleep- I'm sure it's because she felt secure in HER seat.
It is fantastic! I LOVE ours! I would seriously sell my clothes to buy another one. After using a diono, when you use any other seat (safety 1st, graco, evenflo, Costco) they feel less safe. I love the steel frame of the diono, it really reassures me. We have the radian rxt.
And I really like the new styles. I wish they were coming out sooner than the end if next year :/
Kohls sells them online. When they have coupons, you can google and find the 30% off coupon code. I can't remember what mine came out to each, but even with sales tax, it was the cheapest place to get them when I ordered. They had all the colors too.

@beck there is no way I would try to fly with mine. I love them, but they are super heavy.
Op I dont know about black Friday deals, but we also got ours at kohls with a 30% off. That was the cheapest we could find them.

I don't know but I just had to say I have two and I LOVE them! I've tried 5 other seats & none even compare with the radians!!

Albee baby had them for just over $200 a few months ago when I was researching. Not sure what a good deal is I got a recaro and love it.
