Hey ladies. I've been having period like cramps for the past few hours that don't seem to getting any better. Is this normal? Suggestions? I feel if anything they may be getting a little worse. I'm not bleeding or leaking any fluids or else I would've called by now. It's just been a while since I've had a baby and I am having a hard time remembering what's normal.

Yes. But as my doctor says go in if you have any worries better safe then sorry especially if you have a history of preterm labor

@geekalovesgeography when the tightening happens I feel cramping and pressure is my butt. Did you have that too? I have a history of going into preterm labor it's just been so long

Braxton hicks i went to the hosp1 and they monitored the baby they said it was just braxton hicks just rest for tonight and drink water.

Cramping feeling is normal as those are most likely Braxton Hicks contractions. Try drinking some water and laying down.

If they’re not getting better and are becoming painful, def call or go in and get checked out.

@kbbaybee16 I'm not sure if it's labor or what... I don't remember Braxton hicks hurting just tightening

Are you dehydrated? Maybe try to drink some water, and see if that helps. If not I would call.

If it’s been a few hours go get checked they may be able to stop your labor so baby can grow a little more
