My husband and I tried for 4 years. ....it was when we didn't focus on it and we were only having sex a few times a week(if that). ....I know it's hard but just don't try as hard it will happen when it happens

That'a tricky one if you dont see him often; they say its best when sperm has time to build up thats why they suggest every other day. Track ovulation by kits, cervical mucas and taking your temps, eventually you will know exactly when you are ovulating. Apps are just guesses based on other women's average cycles so they arnt accurate. You only have 24 hrs after the egg is released for the sperm to catch it as well. If its been that long it might not hurt to talk to your doc and make sure there are no issues with either one of you as well

well do you know when you ovulate? like I know cause I'd get this cramp in my stomach on my side. I used a period tracker as well which pretty much fills in the days your fertile and etc based on your periods @emily01

We are now, I February finally he went to get situated first cause he left due to job transfer and the house he rented was available after February, thank god it's close now @chela

@emily01, have they checked your tubes to make sure they are clear? Ovaries to make sure there are no cysts? that kind of stuff cam have a huge impact. Also may be your man needs to get his swimmers tested. We tried for a total if 17 months but around 14 my man went and got his tested to be suee

Cysts was the first thing I checked cause it runs in my family but nothing the doctor said everything was fine, I'll try a lil longer and if not then I'll tell him to go get checked... But I don't want to offend him or something you know @xoxo512070

@emily01, yeah that makes sense, just explain to him it doesn't hurt to get checked out, if he really wants it, he should be willing. Just wanted to mention it as an option, I have seen people have issues because of the men. Also remember the average healthy couple only has a 20% of conceiving every cycle. It took us 17 months, that 17th month was when I said im done trying and tracking everything, once I stopped I relaxed and stopped stressing and it happened
