@ashleyshantel1, I really hope it’s different here . I wont be able to go hour away . Well downtown is half an hour drive without traffic . I wish i could just send them paperwork and make correction its one letter 😩

It’s just inconvenient. Apparently it can’t be corrected at the local health department, you have to go to headquarters which is an hour away for me. I had to fill out correction paperwork, then also go downtown and sit in the social security office half the day to get that fixed. I know where I live starting May 21st they stopped doing same day corrections so you have to mail everything in as far as paperwork. I’m not sure if that’s just here though.

More than likely if it’s wrong on the social it’s wrong on the birth certificate. They spelled my daughters first name wrong and the social security department said they go by what’s on the birth certificate, so I had to get both fixed. Instead of Nahla they put Nahia 🤦🏽‍♀️
