It takes time. Dont break the routine. If you give in then it wont work. Just give it time. Best thing you can do is comfort in the room and then leave

@vvrobinson, he’s passed out now 👍🏻 I guess he was just really tired.. but I’m sure he’ll wake up in the middle of the night crying 😩

@mommy_x3 what ive read online is comfort them in their room and then leave. Come back 5-10 minutes later if theyre still sad. My husband has this thing with Athena when shes over tired or super cranky where he lays down on the floor by her bed and lets her scream out her tantrum then when shes calm enough he kisses her and leaves her to sleep. He says he doesnt want her falling asleep sad or mad. Its very seeet.

@vvrobinson, aww that is sweet! I might have to try that, but he’s so hard headed.. he done great transitioning from our bed to his, but going to a completely different room is another story

@mommy_x3 i hope not too!! Its a work in progress though. When athena has sleep regressions we sometimes struggle to put her to bed.

@mommy_x3 no but theyre common around 2 years old. Last one was 1.5 years old.
