@steph2104, Did we end up having them the same day? I thought I saw you on the induction ward I was the one who almost had the baby on there I was rushed to delivery suite and baby was born within minutes of getting there 🤦🏻‍♀️x

@melanie-spiritmedium She's awake for 19 hours a day most of that is spent crying, she is sick and always acting like she's going to be sick loads of things. So we've been doctors and he's given me gaviscon to see if it's reflux and I've got to swab her poo to check for milk allergy xx

@megan-leigh, awww no way! Poor little babe and poor mummy probably not getting much sleep! Hope she settles soon x

@melanie-spiritmedium, I had her at 00.04 on the 12th. I think you were in the bed opposite me. I was in the bed next to the kitchen. I was rushed to delivery as well and had her about 10 mins later. I’d been telling them for ages I needed to push but got ignored until she was nearly out xx

@steph2104, Yeah I was the same hun they kept trying to lie me on my side and I was saying I can’t I need to push but they said I was only 6cms dilated. I was like I don’t care I still need to push and then even when the baby’s head came out they were still telling me not to push! Ridiculously understaffed in there I wasn’t even offered any pain relief xx

@melanie-spiritmedium, it was ridiculous in there wasn’t it! I was contracting too much and they still wouldn’t give me any pain relief because I wasn’t in “established labour” 🙄 they broke my waters at 8cm and she was born 4 mins later. I pushed once and she flew out. The midwife had to catch her xx

@steph2104, It’s the NHS cuts they just haven’t got the staff they’re overworked and underpaid and can’t keep up with the work load so the patient care is compromised. They gave me the pessary then sent a student to look after me and she was saying I didn’t need it taken out when my waters had gone I had to argue with her that it needed to be removed and she actually googled it 🤦🏻‍♀️x

No way!! 😩 was that the blonde girl? It was her first day I think. They had to take mine out after an hour because I was over contracting. They were about every minute and it took them ages to get me gas and air. All they offered me was paracetamol 🙈 xx

@steph2104, Yeah the blonde girl it was her first day, I think her name was Gemma, she was lovely but didn’t have a clue! Yeah I was over contracting too it was agony and she didn’t know she had to remove the pessary she just left it in until I questioned her about it! I wasn’t even offered gas & air just 2 paracetamol x

@melanie-spiritmedium, sounds like we had near enough the same labour!! They removed mine near enough straight away but I still contracted near enough every minute when it was taken out xx

@steph2104, Awful wasn’t it! I’ve not been induced that way before and wouldn’t want to do it again lol the contractions were coming every minute then they’d go then come straight back stronger it was horrible haha x
