Have a support system! My husband has been working since our daughter has been born and my best friends has been helping. My mom and niece also have been. Having company that are willing to help is such a blessing

My biggest preparation for my second was focusing on my oldest. I made her a part of the pregnancy, took her on big girl dates, taught her how to treat a baby with a babydoll, and even let her pick out a present for the baby when she arrived. After the birth of your second, it is important to make time for your oldest. It's hard at first because of the transition, but it's so important.
