@amberspringer yes I already see how it can be useful in so many ways cause of how light and portable it is. Hubby already has it set up in our room lol

@prettyflower1033, haha it just depends. Some you can add a larger mattress. But the highest setting on our crib is pretty high, so I don’t think they want kids to fall out (which I mean after a while you should lower the crib anyway) but yeah just double check. The wood piece that holds the mattress on ours had the specifications. But ours is a mini crib so it might be more particular on the height of the mattress. I’m not sure.

@princessrose I guess I should be reading the crib package that my Husband just set up omg cause I was set on having two mattresses to make it higher or something but all I need is one and a fitted sheet

@amberspringer she will be sleeping most of times then wake up in the middle of the night for changing and feeding. So I have heard so definitely grateful for the changing pad on the side

Our crib has a 2 inch thickness limit and I saw people who had the same crib say “idk we used the 5 inch and they were fine “ 🤦🏼‍♀️

@princessrose yes you're right mine definitely doesn't need a matress..

Read the pack and play, ours said not to add a mattress at all. We use it sometimes and she sleeps amazing in it. We don’t have sheets for it, but like I said we don’t use it every night so it doesn’t matter to us.

Babies don't need soft mattresses to sleep. It increases the risk of SIDS. The sheet should make it easier to clean and other than that you are good to go :)

Yes as @cajuncateral, recommended, get sheets. Very important cause I’ve had diapers leak etc.

I swear by them. I use the board with the padding that it comes with. Used one with my youngest and using one with this baby. It doesn’t need a mattress. Firmer sleeping areas is better for preventing S.I.D.S

My son sleeps in one at my parents house. I recommend ordering sheets for it. It doesn't require a mattress and my son sleeps good in his. I like the soft sides because he scoots around and wakes up in odd positions
