Yes. My son was nonverbal for a long time. By the time he learned to talk he was using 50+ signs. It was so helpful.

@scidg3, @yayacarrington, Awh yay that’s awesome!! How old were they when they got the hang of it? Everybody keeps telling me she’s too young. I know she is but I feel like the more I show her the easier it will be for her once she’s a little older

Yes my daughter knows i love you and please and more and thank you and lots and lots of others she has a deaf uncle so he loves communicating with her

@asandovaln I started when we introduced solids and they caught on QUICK!! 😆 Food=manners! "more" & "please" they learned in like 2 cookies 😋😆🤣 it's cute when they can sign a 2 or 3 word sentence! You feel like mom if the year! 😁🏆

@asandovaln He started signing at 7 months.
